Just bought this, its black,fixed neck,told it was 90's maybe earlier.
has anyone any info please?

Just contacted seller, it was not a Carlton, why did he say that? The make was Avon Morris. The same people that made shaftsbury guitars. Neck was solid wood. The body is thicker/ heavy back piece and there's a ply top
It is A fixed neck though. I bought it as a project,but now knowing the make, i wish i had left well alone!!
Anyone know much about these?
I know i would never buy one when they were about lol!! maybe i can re-fit it,as its just a body and neck.

Rose Moris did not make guitars, they imported them under names like Shaftesbury and Avon. I know that some were made by Matsumoku, some by Kasuga and I think some may have been Fujigen.

I currently own a Shaftesbury Tele thinline which was made in Italy. I used to own a Shaftesbury SG which was made by Kasuga.

Post some pictures and someone will be able to help.
