I've had this in my collection for awhile. In a fit of whimsy I traded a perfectly competent Peavey "Patriot" bass for this, just because it tickled my funny bone. Any clues? Tiesco? Harmony? Other? Body appears to be made up of about 17 ply layers of.... something. I have an old p-bass bridge that I am going to use to replace the POS on display here. It's cool in its own cheap way. Fun to play, and the electronics are actually all functional.

I should have taken a picture of this next to my 4003 to give some idea of the scale.Maybe I'll get around to it eventually.

Enjoy :D

Strange nobody replied in all those days , it's a Kay K-20B by Teisco arround early 70's BUT (probably) made in Taiwan ( at least mine has the sticker and MIT is indicated) .It's from the same series as the Kay K-2T SG copy .
Lovely player by vieuw & playability !

I knew I could count on you to identify this! :D Thanks! Looking forward to replacing the bridge so I can at least get the intonation close. The short scale makes it fun to play around with, and it looks great hanging on the wall.

On guitars like these I don't get too hung up on whether it's Japanese or not
