Since we are seeing some Raven guitars as of late, I thought posting this might be of interest...

Not certain if TRC is original.

Being from Japan is certain...but...being of the same origins as other Raven guitars as of late is questionable....

Is this a product of uncle Mat?...... :-?

Don't have a clue whether it is "Matt" or not , but it appears to be one of the better BB copies I have seen, looks really nice!

Howzit play and sound? Does it see much use?

Hows the acoustic volume? Also the sustain? My bro is looking at a greco BB on ebay right now.... He played a new hofner at guitar center and it blew the ibanez that he has out of the water for sustain... Not sure if that because it was a set neck, or the strings or what....

I wanted to give you a proper answer so pulled it out and left it in the living room for the last week...

The strings are about 40 years old except the B which I would say is maybe 10 years old... Soooooo this bass only thumps right now...lol.. except for the B string that still twangs a little...

This being said, I need to go get a set of flats for this bass... the thump is amazing on it.... It really pulls off the Beatles sound... The twang is not appropriate in my mind.

The sustain with these old strings .... .... The instrument is solid, I would gig this bass without even blinking...Will give you a better answer once a string change is done but I do not have the funds right now... just got me a box of guitar and bass strings and no more pocket money for my hobby...... Love playing bass but strings are a B!^@() to buy ....
