I did a little searching and I see what you mean about the Asama.
What baffles me though is the controls layout. :dunno:

I dont think your bass is Korean.

Build wise, it looks like my Japan made Onyx instruments.

Based on my research, these are Yamaki built. Nothing 100% but there are not Mat made that is for certain.
