Good day. I have had no luck in identifying this bass. The electronics work perfectly and there has been no changes to the electronics - solder joint are untouched.
I believe it is unaltered in every way but I'm not an expert in such an unusual model. Thanks for any help!
I'm having a real problem to add photos. I get an error message saying that they are too big. But I sent them to Talkbass without any problem.

Hello Rmcfee,

First sorry for the image size limit. This is out of necessity.

Due to space restraints we are only allowed so much disk storage. Max image dimensions are 800px by 800px. A storage upgrade would cost me too much (from $18 a month to $54 a month). Unlike Talkbass we have never asked for donations or solicited support other than catalogs and we have never been and never will be ad supported. You might try a 3rd party image hosting or Google Drive. There are also quite a few online image resizing sites.

Looking forward to seeing your bass!

Thanks very much! I'll have a go at that tonight. Rob

My attempts to shrink the picture size down to the acceptable size is not working great. However - here is the link to the Talkbass thread which has 2 pics at the beginning and more if you scroll down.

Definitely a Mosrite copy or Mosrite inspired. This was made during a period when identification is difficult. Many parts houses selling to many "assemblers". There were quite a few guitar shops in japan at that time that outsourced many of their parts making a positive ID difficult if not possible. You can try searching for mid-70s Aria catalogs and you might get lucky. The neck plate puts it in the mid 70s.

WOW!!! I turned off my ad blockers for a second just for giggles.

This is truly bizarre. I guess I assumed there would be thousands of these out there.
