Hi !
Is this a real ´70s japanese guitar as the seller is telling ?
Couldn´d find significant info´s about such clones made under the skylark brand.

I know the Skylark name is used for Chinese-made violins, i wonder if this is related. The truss rod hole is very much like that on Chinese Squier teles, though that's not much to go on. Looks like an alder body.

It's certainly not related to the Matsumoku-made Skylark, as there were only three models- and a limited number, just one production run that got abandoned and then sold off to JC Penney. It's interesting though... I love teles, I'd be curious to know what it is.
