Hoping someone can help identify a no name guitar I purchased. It is a very old guitar. It is an exact copy of a Gretsch Chet Adkins Nashville double cutaway, duel bound (or possible painted) F holes. It is orangeburst or sunburst, rosewood triple bound neck, slant cut where neck meet body (fretboard overshoots body). The back does not have that typical fade to all black burst. It has dual silver humbuckers (look exactly like univox), the neck pickup is slanted to match the neck cut. Missing the pickguard. It has a bigsby copy, two (2) coil switchs at the top where the neck ends for each pickup, a pickup selctor directly below where the neck ends, a gold volume knob with a "V" on it and a gold tone knob with a "T" on it, and a kill switch next to the knobs. It is appointed in all gold hardware. The Head stock is slim, with a true open book end. No name anywhere, no mods. The fretboard has a first fret directly next to the nut. It has periloid blocks/(rectangular) starting at the the very first fret. The neck is a three piece (iirc). The gold, 4 screw neck plate reads just like this:

Model Number
319,14795
japan

It reminds me of a univox. It has great intonation, stays in tune, and is of decent quality and woods. It is very good condition with no appearent mods.

I just can't find anywhere where univox made a gretsch copy. Can any help, or lend some advise where to research? It is a very old guitar.

Thanks in advance, Rich. If pic are needed, I can supply them.
