A local music store has a LP with a maple finger board that looks like it was made in japan. It was refinished and there is no logo on the headstock. It looks like custom with a set neck and maple fingerboard. Seeing that maple figer boards are rare can anyone tell me who made lps with maple frets board?

I have seen ones by Univox but they were bolt neck.

I think about every major label had one in their lineup at some time. Some better than others.

I have a Westminster LP with maple fretboard. What an odd thing to do to an otherwise all mahogny guitar! Sounds greath though.
