I've picked up a lovely Western-style acoustic 6-string with red-stained sides and back and a plain spruce top. It has a matching red wood-effect plastic pickguard (screwed on) and a similar plastic door on the back for access to the screws bolting the neck to the body.

The label reads "Made for Hornby Skewes. Made in Japan. Model F13" - which I think dates it to around 1965. I can't send photo's at the moment but will post some later - unless someone out there can solve the mystery without them!

Many thanks and best wishes.
