Wietse has got a Kay-branded 'Wildwood' that comes very close:

Not likely this was Matsumoku made. Japanese, late 60ies, probably Teisco / Kawai.

Everyone is saying that it's a Gretsch... C'est la vie. Thanks again, K9

At least, the model resembles a Gretsch Viking, more then a ES-335 . Hmmm ... could be 'Guyatone'!

It's strung lefty, too. It's missing strings, and the nut looks broken as well. Probably missing the whammy bar spring.

Betcha that makes the intonation all kinds of wrong. That guitar needs me. I'd buy it if it was way cheap.

je, catching up on his Intonation Police duties.

P.S. oh yeah, another Teisco-ish vote from me.

okay thanks. Couldn't get what was wrong in the link -ru in the end or anything else)). Anyway, thanks a lot.

Just keepin' it a family-friendly site, no big deal. I'd be happy to crop the pics to remove the link, if you want, just hit me with a PM.

Thanks,
