That looks mighty nice.....

Looks exactly like a VHS-455.... Very nice grain patterns...

Yeah a VSH-455(there are two on eBay, I should probably have bought one of them instead.. or maybe by one of them as well :D ), or the Aria Pro II FS(750 I think it was)

Oh by the way, I paid way too much for it

I would put a $450 price range on that... Hope you did good.... If anything like the VHS, you wont regret it.

Cant wait to get better pics of it...

P.

I paid more than $450 for the guitar alone :-?
I can't wait to see it either :hyper:

That looks like a beautiful guitar no matter who made it! And around the Mats era by the look of it.

Shame that looks aren't enough tho is it
We'll see what it is when it's in my grubby hands

Was there an FS750 for sale somewhere? You hardly ever see these for sale. It has a smaller body than this Eagle, I believe and it is a neck thru. It is also not as hollow. It has a more "solid" sound than ES stlye guitars do.

According to Harmony Central Eagle is a modern korean brand. They get good reviews and it looks like you have a Flash 11 model.

Look here http://reviews.harmony-central.com/revi ... rand/Eagle

I'm not so sure RSB. I'm well aware of this brand(a major retailer in Sweden sells these, and the brand is "swedish" although they are manufactured in korea).
The main reason is that the logo is wrong on the one I've bought, the inlays on the fretboard are wrong, and the arched back/top doesn't seem to match the descriptions I've found of the Eagle Flash 11.

Hard to find any decent images of the Flash 11 but here are two shoddy ones:

[edit]

FWIW, the description from the seller:
Quote:
Guitare EAGLE type 335

Still waiting for him to contact me for payment details.. hope the deal doesn't fall through.. or do I hope  :loon:

[EDIT #2]
The "swedish" Eagles: http://www.eagleinstruments.nu/
I found "norwegian" Eagles(the font looks similar to the one I've bought): http://www.eagleguitars.com/index.php

[EDIT #3]
Not conclusive at all but check post #5(or search for eagle) in this thread: http://forums.myspace.com/t/4192351.aspx?fuseaction=forums.viewthread
Slight evidence of an Eagle brand prior to the 1990-ish "new" brand.

I should just go to bed I think.. 00.38 atm

I got an e-mail from the seller this morning. He should have the money early next week and if EU shipping as it normally is, I should have the guitar by friday next week.
I asked him for more images while I wait for the guitar to arrive, hopefully he has some more he can share :)

Yeah I was watching that one as well. It sure was in pristine condition but the final sum it sold for was just... nuts!
There's another one on the US eBay, that ends in a few days. I'm keeping an eye on that as well :)
