I know we've briefly discussed Eagle guitars before, but I'm looking for opinions about these once again.
I'm not talking about the new brand(s) called Eagle, but the 80's one, that were made in Japan, by an unknown factory.
I've tried looking up stuff on the net but Eagle isn't the easiest thing to search for and get good results, but I have found some images of Eagle guitars that share striking resemblances of Matsu-made guitars, primarily Aria & Electra.

So, have you tried one, do you know anything about them? Any and all information is appreciated.

(Yes I might buy one, but more info would definitely be useful, and no I'm not telling :hyper: )

I'm assuming you are not meaning a Washburn Eagle?
Or a guitar played by the Eagles?
Or a guitar made out of eagle parts?
Or...
...I don't know nuthin'. :dunno:

Why am I not surprised when a topic on here diverts to "spread eagle"?

Anyway, I've either made the worst guitar purchase I've ever made, or maybe a decent one. I don't think I've struck hidden gold, but you never know.
This is an Eagle:

The image is from the owner. I found it on french eBay by happenstance, and I instantly fell for it. Looks a lot like an Aria FS.
Oh by the way, I paid way too much for it
Let's hope it's something that's worth the money guitar-wise. I should have it by the end of next week hopefully.

Looks exactly like a VHS-455.... Very nice grain patterns...

I would put a $450 price range on that... Hope you did good.... If anything like the VHS, you wont regret it.

Cant wait to get better pics of it...

That looks like a beautiful guitar no matter who made it! And around the Mats era by the look of it.
Nice. Wanna see some bigger pix of it!
