he has had it forever....but we cant find any markings.... the pickups scream teisco.....but i cant find any similar guits anywhere...

This is going to be a tough one. It is a bit like a Mosrite copy and shares parts with many 60's to early 70's guitars. The neck plate is not the typical Tiesco shield shape but that does not mean much. It`s in the Teisco family that is certain... Have 2 old guitars with the same tailpiece....

That was my imediate instictive guess too.... Tailpiece and pickups scream tiesco......
