I am changing pickups in my Vox Custom 24 so I made a (rough) diagram of stock wiring. Here it is for record as it may be some use to someone. I am sure other Mats guitar have the same configuration as well - Vol, Vol, Tone, Tone, 3 Way, plus 3 micro switches - 2 x series/parallel, 1 x phase reverse.

Here's the diagram. Please excuse my Photoshop skills

Thanks deztone, that will come in very handy

What pups are you going to install?....I've heard a set of Bare Knuckle Crawlers turn it from a killer axe into a KILLER axe

I wanted some pafs in it. I've not had much experience with them do wasn't sure which to go for. I ended up buying a set from Jess Loureiro, a Spanish hand winder who I found through evil Bay. I have used them for a couple of months now and I'm pretty happy. They really transform the guitar, no doubt. The x2n pickups are pretty much like a sledgehammer so it's nice to have some subtlety and actually here the guitar itself! I went for gold covers and 4 conductors do the wiring configuration remains the same as well. I'll post a picture, it looks pretty gorgeous now. If anyone's interested in the pickups here's a link :

Cheers.
