I bought this guitar today, I really like it. I would love some more information.

Guy said it was a 1973, but I have no way of verifying that. I have the serial number I need to take a pic so I can post it.

Everything seems to original for the most part. The pick guard is off, but I have it and the original screw. Everything works, it plays nice. Has a real bluesy tone.

I have seen a number of Ventura ES-335s, but I have not seen one with the mother of pearl headstock.

Looks very much like a re-branded Aria similar to a 1502/5102(?) Diamond/Pan?
Those single coil pickups should sound great!

It sounds really good. Like "went down to the crossroads" good. I have less than $300 in it.

Excellent!
I once worked on a Pan labelled guitar similar to yours in the shop, and it played and sounded fantastic!
These old guitars are gems.

I believe Barry is right. I couldn't find a good pic on the site but if you search Aria 5102T you'll find there were many variations.
Just my .02, and I could be wrong but, but I think yours may be earlier than '73.
The style of the actual single coil pickups (some of the "humbuckers" are really singles made to look like 'buckers) just look like late '60s to me. We believe this model started in '70 so... :D

You'll also see it as an Epiphone EA250.
And, I dig it!! :rockwoot:

So the guy I got the guitar from had left the pickguard for the guitar at home. He said it was rough, so he took it off. He mailed it to me. I got it this morning.

I was hoping it was pearl like the rest of it, but I expected a crusty old black pick guard.

Man, was I surprised and blown away! Look at it, JUST LOOK AT IT!
