Hello Pete,

When I saw the photos of your guitar, I immediately saw similarities with a guitar I picked up a few months ago.




Obviously it's not the same guitar, but the way the body is rounded and the necktroughness make me think that the could be part of the same family.

My guitar is a The Asama and from what I could find on the internet, it was made by Tombo (they stopped making guitars, but are still making harmonica's) or Ghushin Gakki.

But wherever it is made, it is a really nice guitar.

Just came across another TORCHY, but must be the top-of-the-line model of the one shown here - 2 vol, 2 tone, a 3 way switch and SIX mini-switches! I'll grab the photos later.
