As I'm a sucker for block neck inlays but too cheap for Fender prices, when I was offered this rare Matsumoku Jazzmaster "copy-ish" last week for about £390/$530 I had to grab it before someone else did.
Apparently the same guitar as the Ibanez branded one - just for the UK market.
Anyone know anything about the pickups in these? Apparently they are some kind of "Maxon"y P90 hybrid thing.

Looks good.

However, Maxon pickups and finding the same model with an Ibanez logo on the headstock... that is only proof that the guitar was not made by Matsumoku.
