Just joined. Have just got a guitar from Ebay auktion. It is a Masaaki VT-470. It is very close to Vantage Va 800. http://s974.photobucket.com/albums/ae221/pgvpgv333/
I recieved it with the pickupframe broken. I am starting to play it and get into it. Nice guitar.
Do anybody know anything more about it? Thankful for help.

based on what I can see from the picture, it look's like my Mann Copies of the VA800... do a search for Mann and also for Gumika since Kees (K9) has the same under that brand... So far what we came up as a conclusion is that these were Korean copies made by Cort. Have a look at your dot inlays on the finger board, are they brass? Also the pots will give you a clue if Japan made or Korean...

Any chance of better pictures and close ups?
