I'm no too sure about that . The one i have is #261 , the one pulled from the web is #212 , both are the exact same model . Personally , I've never owned an SG , I've never been into them , just something different for my collection. After some minor set up she rips pretty much like an other Mat I own . Besides the neck plate , the bridge and heel are both stamped "Made in Japan" . No other markings . She will get a re finish this summer with some of the other crew . I can't see an SG being run in limited numbers :dunno: I thought SG's have always been popular but a varying 3 digit number I've never seen.

Hmm the mystery continues. That said, I have never seen a Matt (or any other guitar) with that kind of neck plate.

The black wire and the white wire with black tape is the bridge pick up . That is exactly how the cream p/u was wired in. The rest looks original . Will do it proper after restore .

So like I said at the start of all this :dunno: Yes it sets up , plays , sounds like a Mat , sounds similar to my other Granada's , but a 3 digit number ? It doesn't seem that special , Am I missing something here ??
