I posted some pictures of this guitar that I got a lonnnnggg time ago in pieces and incomplete... Actually, I think this was my 2nd guitar that I ever got.. Being a bass player, I never had any guitars before.... Before I got the MAA ... :D

The previous owner just added it to a tube amp lot that I got.. He was cleaning house... so I took it in... here are some pics.

The neck was not even attached when I got it..

It looked so-so but had lots of little scratches so I put no value on the thing.

Same for the back... lots of little scratches but no real damage... nothing broken...

These are all the pieces that came with it...

Got the trem unit, missing arm....
Most of the wiring...
not the real pups..pups MIA...
Bridge MIA...

So the guitar sat in a closet for a very longggggggggg time.... :( Missing some major parts there... and not the easiest to find...

But :yeah:

Last year, I found a guy that upgraded a Univox Coily... :hyper:
Was able to get the pups and bridge from him... got the pups for free really since they did not work...

Pulled them apart and found the wires were pulled and needed to reconnect them inside.

So, once I soldered the wires properly... had a nice set of Humbuckers for my Trini... :P

Redid all the wiring...added a switch since was missing... tested all the wires for connectivity and had to add some to replace old broken ones.

The guitar then went under a complete compound rub and then a wax.

Then ...put it all back together.... Not as easy as one might think I tell ya.... You have to be very patient doing this...

Once the electronics installed, tested them to be certain everything was fine and that signals came from both pups and tested the switch...

Next step...cleaned all the hardware, polish all the chrome and finally, cut a new bone nut for it...

Put on strings.... and this is what you get....

Shweet Pete, er, Pierre!
Great resto.

In the last 6 months or so I have restored 3 Gibson Trini's for a client collector, one was a stereo model. They're a bit odd looking. In essence, they are ES335's having a bad hair day. :look:

Your Pan does not look like she has a solid centre though? So more like an ES330 then?
