Just picked up a Vantage VS600R with 2 volume and 1 Tone. Coil split wiring and toggle switch are missing. I would like to reinstate the coil split. What type of mini toggle switch was originally installed? 2 way or 3 way? SPDT or DPDT? Anyone have a wiring diagram? Thanks.

Hi Graham,
The mini toggle switch should be DPDT.
I don't know of any model specific wiring but here are 2 references from Seymour-Duncan and Guitar Electronics showing the same configuration. The only difference is that the coil cut is incorporated in the Tone switch rather than a separate toggle.

Matsumoku dropped the mini toggles as they developed their guitar lines in favour of the push pull pots. You could easily do the same and either use the toggle to add a phase reversal, or just cap the hole with something suitable.

Thanks Barry. Great info. Assuming I go the toggle route, and just to clarify, it would be a 2 way (on/off only) DPDT, and both pickups would be coil split together when switch is on?
