OK... I have a Vantage 310 on the bench in bits and the readings are 12.8ohms/6.8, and Don has measured his 310 and has readings of 17.?/12.? with the pups still in circuit. These seem outrageously high for a mass produced pup; could you blokes with single pup Matt guitars take some readings and post them here, please??

Thanks...

Two MMK45s, rectangle stamp, from an '81 Vantage Avenger AV325, outside the guitar & associated electronics: 11.16K humbucker, 5.5K single.

Corsair's Hollywood Avenger (1982, single MMK45 w/coil tap) reads 11.33K/5.8K with the pickup still in the guitar.

My Squid Head Avenger (1981, single MMK45 w/coil tap) reads 10.7/5.56K with the pickup still in the guitar.

My Fly Ashtray Avenger (1981, single MMK45 w/coil tap) reads 11.15K/5.65K with the pickup still in the guitar.

After reading all of this I'm going to go back and do mine again ( i did think the readings were a bit on the high side).
I'll pull the back cover off and have a dig around inside the old girl
