I have a Washburn Mat ( Raven I think?) with a bolt on neck that I restored, it was a mess when I bought it but the pickups in it are like new.
I rewired it, refinished it with a rather bizarre but interesting finish, and put a pair of Epiphone LP pickups in it.
I have been gigging with it some, it feels fantastic and sounds great. It has the feel of a Hamer. Great tone.

I would like to post a pic of it, but I am not sure how.

If someone would give me some pointers on how to post an image of it I would like to do so.

Please do,but do so in the appropriate section= members treasures

(Iow create a thread there to sport your pictures)

Anyhow.
To post a pic hit the symbol "Img" that comes up ontop of the reply window.
Do this once, the type-or copy n paste-the URL for the pic and then hit the Img button once more.
Done.

(Img as an abbreviation for image btw)

The pics are on my desktop. I don't know how to store them at this site for them to be constantly accessed.

Ah!
Well that´s easy enough.
You either use one of the available free sites for that or just mail me the pics and i´ll be happy to host them on my own server.

Thanks, but that sounds like a lot to go through, I thought there was just a simple upload procedure like on most sites.

I have been curious about photo sites though, can you recommend a good one and give me some pointers about how they work?

Guitarskeeter,
Photobucket works for me, but you can load your pics up to GuitarDir.com, too. I'll walk you through putting your pics up here afterwards either way

Ok, I might check out photobucket later this week, I think I have heard of it.
If starting an account with them is explained there and uploading is nothing more than browsing for the picks then uploading them, I shouldn't have a problem.
How do those sites work, do they just let you have a certain amount of space free? I have stuff I would like to put at a site other than music gear.
And, thanks for the info!

I tried to do the photobucket thing and it was a hassle. I signed up, and it took 20 min for a page to load, none of the buttons worked. Then adobe flash player tried to load, and kept rejecting my computer.

So, are there other photo sites that are less cumbersome?

OK here we go. I found a photo site that is VERY easy to use.

This is pics of my "wabash" which is what my wife keeps callling it, so, smart@ss that I am, I now call it that too *cough* ....
It is the beginning of an album that I will eventually put all of my guitars on.
Maybe if I take pics of them I will count them.

Also in the album is a Strat that I customized for my own use.
