Yeah... I picked up a Wing bass to pair with my Falcon.
I have never seen these before other than on pictures. They seems to be quite rare and to be honest, I do understand why. With the shape of the body standing up and playing becomes difficult. The neck is pointing very far out left and you need to be shaped like a gorilla to reach all the way to the first fret. This is all due to the short upper horn of the body with the connection of the strap, that centers the body of the bass to the centre of the players body... There is a very obvious reason for the horn shape of most modern basses  and why the les paul shape never successed on basses...

Except this the bass is playing great. Sitting with it on my knees gives a natural position. The P-bass style pickup are powerful with kinda dry tone that I really like and the sustain is even louder than on my SB's, probably because of the thicker neck and the string thru body design.

As soon I get a chance there will be a picture....

that's a nice bass, Chopper; very pretty indeed!! Now you'll have to take many pix of it, and then strip it down and give all the data therein to the mods, because I think the Vulture is AWOL from the model section in here, eh!!

To be honest.. I got a few Matsu that are not really good presented... The Aria Dragon is one example... sold to my dear friend Racing. But compared to a few years ago... today you find the most.
Matsumoku.org are the best place to find any info on our beauties. When I started my "collecting" there wasn't really any info at all about these fantastic instruments and now we have this enormous database created by the collective knowledge of all the members. I still remember when the rathole showed up and I am glad if I could contribute with what I have.
I will give the Vulture a good clean up and then you will get as much info as possible :)
