Yeah... I picked up a Wing bass to pair with my Falcon.
I have never seen these before other than on pictures. They seems to be quite rare and to be honest, I do understand why. With the shape of the body standing up and playing becomes difficult. The neck is pointing very far out left and you need to be shaped like a gorilla to reach all the way to the first fret. This is all due to the short upper horn of the body with the connection of the strap, that centers the body of the bass to the centre of the players body... There is a very obvious reason for the horn shape of most modern basses
and why the les paul shape never successed on basses...
Except this the bass is playing great. Sitting with it on my knees gives a natural position. The P-bass style pickup are powerful with kinda dry tone that I really like and the sustain is even louder than on my SB's, probably because of the thicker neck and the string thru body design.
