I was flipping through one of my old Status Quo books the other day (Status Quo by Tom Hibbert, 1982) and pictured on pages 24/25 is an oustanding shot of guitarist Francis Rossi using a Washburn Eagle (probably a '79-'81?). He's usually seen using his yuckky green modded Tele (in fact, Fender has issued signature Teles for Rossi and fellow Quo guitarist Rick Parfitt, both long time Tele users). Those guys did some kick ass rock in the early-to-mid '70s (plus the classic psychedelic hit: Pictures Of Matchstick Men from 1968). They kinda lost me in the 80s though.

Anyway, those Eagles are nice looking guitars. 8)
