Hi im new here and would like to know if anyone has seen my guitar before, i bought this in 1991 so its not japanese but i do know it to be korean though, i then sold it in 1994 to which i never saw another until 3 weeks ago on good old ebay so i couldnt resist, and bought it. I turn 40 next week and this was my 21st birthday present bought from gateshead metro centre back in 1991 and was i surprised to find this was my guitar from nearly 20 years ago, its in need of some tlc as the previous owner let all the screws rust and the double locking trem was pitted badly so its currently being restored as we speak, luckily the body and neck has no lasting damage and is a testament to its makers that the paintwork and finish has lasted so long, anyway i thought i would register on here to see if anyone can tell me a bit more about it the serial number is 1120669 and it says accurate bolt on system underneath the serial number and is it rare, as like i said i have only seen one and was wondering whether it had been a lawsuit job as its very jackson/charvel like with its reverse headstock and wicked colour i have added a pic but until i get it back from the shop this is as clear a pic i have at the moment looking forward to any comments good or bad thanks.

Love the story; good work and welcome here!! I don't know much about them at all, but I've no doubt that someone will be along shortly who does... :)

Im having fun trying to get a tremolo for this guitar just bought one didnt fit, getting one from the usa lets hope this one fits then thats it guitar will be all nice and finished with new screws, bolts and pickup surround, which i was lucky to find dont think there are too many with 2 screws at the top and 1 at the bottom cant complain it was only £3, total spend around £160 less if i can sell that other tremolo so not too bad guitar only cost me £100 will post pics when its all done.

What type of trem is it?...it's hard to see in the pic. (some Asian guitars from that era (including Mats) used the older, Floyd Rose single-locking trems). :D

Hi it was the older type floating trem, saddles and fine tuners in one, i replaced it with a floyd rose special double locking trem which was the only type apart from the original floyd rose that would have fitted, but wasnt going to spend £180 on the original for it not to fit, but i know now so all is good, and it stays in tune pretty well considering its not had time to bed in yet cant upload any pics as they are more than permitted 100 kbs so have put them on heres the links.

Just found out that the body of the guitar is basswood like the ibanez guitars with maple neck and rosewood fret board plus it has a push pull coil tap.
