I always like to keep at least one locking-trem guitar in the house as an option, but all the really good ones I've had along the way keep getting sold. :D I have an ESP LTD now, and never really got comfortable with it...I'm hoping that this will take its place, and the ESP can go away. This one's certainly much more attractive to look at, at the very least. The body contours make it quite comfortable as well. If I can make this a real good-sounding player for under $100 invested, it'll be worth keeping around.

One good thing so far- tuning is rock steady stable, I don't think I've even touched the fine tuners since I stretched the strings & locked down the nut. That's pretty impressive.

Really dig the colour and that slim profile!
Not my style of guitar but it appears to be well made and more important, very playable. Great value there.

It's surprising, I've never had another guitar that feels quite like it- I've had very contoured bodies (the Ibanez Maxxis is a great example), but most of the super-strat style guitars I've played had proportionally small necks. This one's hard to describe- it's not too deep, but it's pretty substantial. In fact, I'd say the same for the body- by appearances, you'd think it was really slim & light, but it's not. It's about 3/4" thick at the edges, but at least 1 3/4" in the center. Interesting.

Yeah, the color's a real eye-catcher. Changes pretty drastically with different light, too. I'm diggin' it, especially for the price. I may start to get annoyed if I can't fit replacement single-coils in the routing, we'll see...

Love the color. If you like a somewhat strat style body with a more substantial neck, try the APII TS series. The bolt neck ones can be found pretty cheap. I love the neck but they are heavy.

The Kahler alone was worth the money...add that color on a nicely-contoured body, a strong & stable neck...it's too easy to then fix the electronics to anything at all that I like.

Might farm out the fretwork, though- I don't enjoy that part very much.
