I was very please to fing out this bass was active and came with a pair of Bartolini pickups!!!

Wow... great sound....Having a bit of a hard time playing it still since have to get the hang of muting the strings while playing but fun!!!!!

Having a blast, Great instrument! :up:

Looks nice. I am actually thinking of getting rid of my 5 string bass (Schecter). I just don't play it enough to justify the space.

That guitar has an oddly wide neck. . . :rofl:

I never said anything Samick made was bad ... I've encountered many well made guitars by them, (and bows, too), and there's always some points of criticism to them, but Matsumoku didn't make all off them perfectly either, did they? I do believe the overall quality of the woods being used, the choice of hardware and the craftmanship, back in the 19-eighties, was at a much higher level at Matsumoku, than it was at Samick or Cort a few years later ... but They've continued where Matsumoku died in 1987.

Well only had it for a couple of days and enjoying it so far... Will be leaving it in the living room so that she does get playing time.... It's just so fun to run longgggggggg scales like this!!! wohoooo... it never ends!!!! it never ends!!!!! :hyper:

The high end models are not a joke I can garanty that... Also had a top model electrique acoustic from them that I sold but really regret it since it was... really a great high end instrument.... The young boy that bought it from me impressed the hell out of me when he played it! it sounded like heaven, he was so surprised, he just handed me the money and kept playing it .... :blush:
