) The locking plates are usually the first thing to be lost, so that's a plus.
The bridge pickup may be an MMK45 or one of the wimpy UBC models. Things started to change sometime in 1985 and I've had to swap out a few UBC's in several Spectrum models as a result.
The SX came in Blue or Red trans finishes, but it seems to me that the results varied quite a bit. My Blue one is beautifully grained but many that I've seen appear to be closer to solid finishes than trans, especially the Red.
A bit of a quality control problem? Or perhaps it depended on how many pieces of maple they used for the body and how well they matched.
Same sort of thing on my Vantage Avenger AV325's but the other way 'round. The red trans is amazing but the blue is kinda "bleh".
