There's something oxymoronic about a Cardinal that looks more like a Blue Jay, but regardless, the trans blue on this baby is my favourite version of this model. Seller is less than an hour away too!

Hard to tell exactly because the guitar is photographed in the bloody case, but she looks to be in good condition, and original except for a bone nut and a bridge pup swap for a Dimarzio. (It would have been nicer if it had been a zebra to match the neck but. ..)

Seller doesn't say what model pup but if it's a Super Distortion then there wasn't much point in taking out the MMK45 was there?

As usual the price is a killer and continues to mirror the upward trend I'm seeing locally:
CAD$650 incl HSC
The good news for non-locals: Seller is willing to ship!

It looks clean. He's taking best offer, good luck.

Can't really blame the seller for the asking price, she's a nice guitar alright.
But my "best offer" would be well below his asking price and probably taken as an insult. :evilrazz:

I know what you mean. I also sometimes don't make an offer because it might be taken as an insult. On the other hand, if something has not sold for awhile then maybe the offer might not be taken as an insult.

It's not as if I don't have anything to play here, ya know?
And it doesn't help my buying motivation when I have obtained my Mats guitars for less than half of what the seller wants here.

As well, playing has become more and more difficult as the finger joints continue to seize up making it less of a joy and more an effort of will some days.

But despite all that, this blue baby pulls at the guitar nerd in me and it's hard to resist! :hyper:

Prices for Mats have been going up and have been for a while. Beyond my threshold. This one looks pretty clean. Saddles are starting to show some bubbling on the chrome plating. I'd ask for more pics at that price point.

I paid $318 US shipped for a CS-350 SR with OHSC just November of last year and $245 US shipped for a CS-250 missing the pickups. BUT, this only happens every blue moon too. Patience is the key. Something GAS erodes and at alarming rate.

Seller has no issue with throwing hype phrases such as Matsumoku twice, vintage, and Kurt Cobain (incedentally, his was a CS-250). Creative use of keyword spamming. "....doesn’t sound like LP ,SG ,Doublecut, PRS..." and "...Gibson Longhorn."

Ain't it the truth?
I have been the beneficiary of being patient though, and it seems more often than not in my case that stuff just "appears" when you least expect it.

Whether I have the money at the time however...
It's all about timing, and luck. :loon:
