That's a gorgeous guitar and I'm sure it sounds fantastic, but I think it would be a heavy-ish thing to play standing, especially for an old fart like me. :puppyeyes:

Playing a 12-string takes a bit more finger concentration particularly if you don't play it often, so I can do without the hefty build.

The best electric 12 I have played is the Danelectro '59 reissue. Very light and comfortable, with a neck as schmoo-o-o-th as a baby's bum! And of course that Dano jangle as a bonus.

Almost bought it when I was at the shop, still kicking myself that I didn't.

I can affirm, having played a 912, that these are simply fabulous. However, as Barry points out, your left hand needs to be absolutely precise with any 12, and especially with this one as the neck is not that much wider than the 6!!

That said, they do reward accurate fret work and have 12 string jangle to beat the band; yes, Dorothy, there is neck dive but a 3” jacquard strap on my VS696-12 alleviates this to a greater degree…
