This early PE is not only beat to sh but the binding is trashed, finish is in horrible shape, the hardware is badly corroded, and worst of all the neck needs to be re-set. I sure wouldn't trust it as is. Can you imagine the neck flies off in the middle of a solo at a gig? WAY more than I would ever pay for it.

That binding looks really "funky". Celluloid rot?? :-?
What a shame, nice model otherwise.

That thing is in really sad shape. Definitely qualifies as a labor of love.

It's almost like the binding lost its color. What really blows me away is how the neck is no longer set and to boot the finish is "rotten" on one side of the joint. :yipes:

That "rotten" area might be some shoddy filler that's falling apart. Who knows what's under there? :o

It sold for $527!!! :yipes: :-? :yipes: :-? :yipes: :-?

That's about $427 more than I would have gone. I guess one man's NOPE is another man's treasure.

Yikes!
Obviously sold to someone who didn't bother to zoom in on the images.
