Not sure if it will go for much. Looks to be in decent shape and all original. Even has the pick guard. No, I won't be going after it. :)

Dang, the other Vantage that I always wanted. . .

I would suspect those are MMK45's?

I had a similar VLP. The pickups were labeled "FS" on the back and had a "T" molded into the top, copying some Gibson pickups. Resistance was around 8K at the output jack. Had a clear kinda neutral sound, not especially high output. The guitar was not heavy like some LPs.

My Ghost and the VSH-455 had similar pickups regarding output. Probably considered fairly high output in the 80s but not by today's standards. The pickups in the ghost were a bit muddy for my tastes but the pickups in the VSH-455 were a little brighter and more articulate.

I would probably be shooting for this but I already have a number of guitars that fill this niche. If I were to do a direct LP copy it probably would be bolt neck. Something that Feigndor and until recently with the Axcess Globson failed to do is move the heel or neck joint farther into the body to improve upper register access (think Cardinal or PE).

Hmm...
As much as I want it, I don't really need it.
As Crusty said, I also have a number of guitars that fill this niche.
I honestly don't think anything can beat my Entertainer in this category. It's BAD.

I think I'm gonna wait for either a VSH-455 or something with P90s.

Think i may put a bid down on this.

Coupla questions:

Just curious if this is a reputable sight? Must be the national Goodwill chain, right? I'm a bit of a novice with any sites outside of reverb and ebay.

Some complain about it but I've never had a problem save for a couple of No-Pays outbidding me. In both cases I got the guitar cheaper than I would have the first time around. Pretty sure they only ship state side. Same as Reverb or eBitch factor in shipping costs as well. This one would be about $23 for my location before taxes (and they do charge sales tax).

Here you're not buying from an individual but a Goodwill Store so no seller reviews or ratings.

Looks like it sold for about $340, pretty respectable. Someone got a good deal.
Anyone here?
