Some definite red flags:
Only 1 pic
Looks like this persons 1st sell
Some kind of body damage occured that went through the case first. That's scary, but the description says it was fixed.

But the price isn't horrible and it never hurts to investigate a little bit. OHSC too, although it sounds like there might be/is some damage.

No way in H E double toothpics would I trust this listing. Only one pic and mention of damage not depicted. AFAIC you DON'T provide additional pics before shipping. Been this route and there was damage not indicated in the original listing. Major damage.

This is NOT how you sell a guitar on Reverb! Especially for that price. No pic of the original case with damage. Red flags is correct.

My advice is to steer clear of this until more detailed information and pics are included. If I didn't do the repairs myself IMHO the repairs were done by an amateur until proven otherwise.

I sent him a message asking to upload more detail pics. He said he would but it doesn't look like he has yet. . .

UPDATE:
He added a few pics. Not very detailed but, the "repair" looks about like I thought it would. . . :toopid:

Somehow missed this! Red flags abound and that "repair looks like it was done with super glue (CA). I get a laugh at all the claims that these guitars (Mats) "This damage is reflected in the asking price as these are going for over 1k mint".

I've also seen a bunch of axes advertised with "Matsumoku" in the title or description - many of which contradict themselves when they show the serial # (one actually showed the blurred out "made in Indonesia" sticker.

I really hate it when sellers use not for profit info sites like the Vantage site to bolster their listings. Of all the times sellers have used this site to enhance their listings yet not a single one has sent a dime this way. :x

At least it is starting low.

Same guitar different seller. Must be something very wrong with this guitar. From New Glasgow Canada to St. Charles MO (my neck of the woods).

If I could get if for about $100 I'd consider it. It's gonna take a little work to make that "repair" look decent.
