A little work? That's a who lot of OUCH there.

The fact it is changing hands in less than 3 months is cause for concern for me. I don't think it's a guitar flipper since it started much lower than it originally sold for.

What a pity the repair was done so poorly.
In the hands of a skilled woodworker it would have had a chance at redemption.

At this point I think you can only either learn to live with it assuming everything else is OK, or, it becomes a candidate for a total refinish. At least on the top.

Trying to repair that "repair", especially on a light finish would only end in tears methinks.

Oh, I'm with you. I'm certain there is more than meets the eye here but, if I could get it on the cheap, I wouldn't feel too badly if it were a total loss.
That and I really feel like I can "fix" it. :D

It's already past my price point but I sent an email asking how long he's owned it and if he can tell me what happened to it.
We'll see... :dunno:

*UPDATE*

He said he's had it for 6 months and has no idea what happened to it. I told him I had been watching it on Reverb and now see that it is for sale again in a short period and was wondering what else was going on with it?
