It is not a CS-400 but a CS-350. Bit high if you ask me. In addition, Kurt Cobain played a CS-250 Walnut with an aftermarket bridge replacement.

F for accuracy, A for hype.

If I could find a nice 400 in that finish, I'd be all over it.

CS Smackdown!!

Looks like that one is gone. Here's another "Cobain":

I would ask for pics of the back. That bridge and set neck would be a CS-400. Bolt neck would make it a Deluxe with that bridge. Keep in mind the 400 had a beefier neck than the lower bolt on models. One reason I didn't keep the 400 I had.

The 400 was also a carved top, right? That looks like a flat top to me, I would say Deluxe.
Also, I'm not 100% but it always seems that when I see a Deluxe, the neck is set a fret or so deeper into the body. I know the one I had was that way and that's why I don't have it anymore.

There was even a difference between years of the 350 where the neck joins the body. Not much of one but it is there.

I forgot all about the carved top.

I believe you are correct, I've noticed a few different neck joins on the CS models. With the lower cutaway being so small, I prefer the neck out as far as possible to access upper frets. I modeled one of my guitars after my CS Deluxe but moved the neck out AND opened the lower cutaway. :rockwoot:
