No, the pickup is a little crooked but it might be that way form production. I just use that as an indicator modifications have been made. I normally err on the side of safety.
After all it is my money and I don't want to unknowingly throw it away. If something looks a little hinky I rule it hinky and consider accordingly. In this case a bridge replacement might be necessary ($50 - $65 plus my labor) and some "fill and drill" if the pickup ring is not placed correctly or has been relocated because the original hole(s) stripped out (again my labor). I've seen this on probably 100s of guitars. I hate fill and drill. PITA.
If this is a genuine Leo Quan Badass bridge it should have set screws on both sides and the "hoops" that wrap around the posts should not be splayed out like it is on the bass side of this guitar.
The Supermatic bridge on the PE models is Matsumoku's take on the Badass, MUCH improved but it is not a Badass clone.
I have two guitars with Badass clones on them and both have the set screw on both sides. Also, the U shaped slots for the posts is not splayed out like this one. If you look closely you'll see the bass post set screw is either cocked or bent inward. These are cast bridges so any distortion due to stress or a blow could mean imminent failure. You don't want that at a gig or in the middle of a smile wrenching groove.
