Pretty sure i've posted about this one before but can't find it.

Awesome looking guit! The price has fluxuated a bit over the last couple weeks and currently resides at the $470 mark but i saw it at $425 2 weeks ago. I'd bet they would take that if offered. Ohsc too!

Looks to be in pretty good shape considering its age. I had a CS-400. The neck is chunkier than the bolt neck Cardinals. Never could get used to it.

Man, i love that color too! And after staring at it for a couple months i sent them an offer....... accepted! $420 + 65 shipping. It's not a great deal but i think it will end up being worth it! I'm hoping it can be my road dog. Somebody was saying the neck is a bit thicker, crusty?, kinda like an sg which suits me just fine. I gigged with an sg for over a decade, but it doesn't/didn't have the tonal options this stunner does!

$420 for a Matsumoku set neck is nothing to sneeze at. The bolt Cardinals routinely go for around that. Considering it is in decent shape AND with OHSC you did well. Compare it to a $420 Chinese guitar with case and that puts it in perspective.

I had an SG-III and it had a thin neck. I had an early 80s LP and it also had a thin neck but not as thin as my AP2s.

The CS-400 has a chunkier neck than the bolts. No idea what they would compare to. That's why it didn't stay long. I got too used to the Cs-350s and the PEs. The pickups on it are a bit warmer than the MMK45 but plenty of clarity. Definitely not high output.
