Jorg, you're in luck. That eBay listing is pretty steep for a Bowery. I would ask the morons for more pics. Pics sell guitars but these guys are still in the stone age and stuck on brick and mortar. I've seen them go for between $350 and $450 in good shape.
https://www.guitarcenter.com/product-de ... 5119136565I just got (and getting rid of) a Brownsville Impala a lot like that Bowery. It has Rickenbacker style toaster pickups and I realized they aren't my style. I guess I'm just not a jangly kind of guy. A lot of watchers but nobody's taken the bait yet. I refuse to go below $224. Any less and I'll give it away to a friend.
The listing for that VSH was ended, not sold. It could have been sold locally as they are a physical music store.
They have a Cardinal I'd like to have and a Hohner DC as well but darn sure not at their prices. The Cardinal is in rather rough shape. The phase switch is damaged, it has its share of dings and it has a mis-matched saddle on the low E. Maybe I should offer to sell them the switch and saddle for $150?
Seems in line with their pricing.
