Vantage continued after Matsumoku closed shop. That headstock and truss cover tells me it was probably made in the same Korean plant as Arbor. Cheap covered gear tuners and sheet metal bridge means it probably is bolt neck. I've seen Korean Hondo IIs near to this.

I won't do business with GC any more, I don't care what they have listed at what price. Partially because I don't think they really want to sell the guitars. One pic, that's it, and you want me to give you $400? They refuse to take an example from Reverb. Good pics and lots of them sells guitars. Even Music Go Round is using Reverb now. They don't clean the guitars either but at least you can see what you are in for with the pics.

Every guitar I've bought from them needed work, was filthy and NEVER set up. One was so nasty I cleaned the finger goo off the fingerboard with Lysol before I would touch it with my bare skin. Dead strings, electrical issues, intonation way off, missing knobs and one even missing a string. Used to be a guitar player's heaven but that was many moons ago. Now they're nothing more than lazy guitar flippers.

About a month ago I asked them if they could replace the pic they have (which was cropped by a 12 year old using MS Paint) with some decent pics. Nothing. I sent them one final message, a very heartfelt Adios.
