A bit steep but in pretty good condition. Had one identical to it and it was a breeze to play. Pickups are not as hot as you would think, pretty much on par for the era.

That does look pretty nice.
I'm not overly fond of the big horn on the 2nd gen RS. The 1st gen RS body was offset and it made more sense.
I still love 'em though. . .
Isn't that a 45 in the bridge?

Came with "Hot Blade" pickups. Hot for the era, nothing like what is considered hot today.

The pickups are among the worst that Aria put on guitars (one of the reasons I hardly play my ZZ)...

Love the Kahler...

Same here. "Hot" blades my rear end. I know a lot of people hate Kahler but I really liked it also. One of the most hated jobs I did when I had a guitar shop was set up Floyd Ridiculous trems. Way too much work.

I have no idea why people dislike them. I had 2 Kahlers that I installed myself back when I was 18-20 yrs old and both were fantastic.
I don't really miss the guitars they were on but I would like to have the bridges. . .

I feel your pain...but with one minor change. Yes FR trems are annoying to set up, no argument there. But I found that even more frustrating were the FR knock-offs (or even the "licensed by" models).
They drove me nuts more often than not, and I think the main problem was with fit and finish and steel hardness which resulted in the bridge blades losing their edge over time as they pivoted on the posts. That resulted in sloppy action and an inability to return to the neutral setting.

I've mentioned Music Man's trem bridge design before and I have to say it again, they are bloody fantastic! A breeze to set up and they don't go out of tune. Quality steel and close tolerances make all the difference, and without needing a large ugly footprint either.
