I posted this on the Westone Forum as well (naturally) but I didn't bother to do my usual examination of the guitar in magnification 'cause I couldn't get past that price!
But one of the members there did and drew my attention to the string windings on the posts which were all backwards!
So for what it was worth, I messaged the seller with a few comments including the roasted maple description, the string thing, and the fact that although they were hard to find they were not "super rare". Gave him a link to the website too.
He responded:
