As stated as a general whole stock. I´ve replaced the machineheads as one of them was gone, and replaced with a tulip one (stockers are mushrooms).

Got a ding or two but plays like butter. Need to service the electronics of it and pull a fretjob.
Took a razorblade to the fretboard already last night, and it cleaned up as expected. What came out was the usual Mat standard.

Very light. Weighs in at a mere 3,2kg.

I hear ya Jorg.
Truth be told after handing the axe some serious TLC today it turned out to be a real screamer together with that last GB amp i built!
For a combination the two of them!!

Anyhow..straightened out a few Q marks and the axe really came full circle. A mere 3,2kg worth.. IOW very light and extremely tonal. N Barry..yep. P90´s.
We´re on the same page there..

Yup Trev.
That said, what strikes me is that they are as scarse as they are? Why?
`cause real good guitars..yep on that one too. As you play it you feel the entire axe go to work.

Boys.
I need your help/advice.
This axe is nothing short of great. Really. It is all in all a really good guitar, bar none.

So?

Well. Turns out that the wraparound has its little ridge,or whatever you wanna call it,set for what i gather is a wound G-string. In short as the rest of the strings now are within reason as far as intonation G is not.
Ergo,if i want to remedy this, and i do,a replacement bridge is in order. Locally, over here, there´s a fair share of wraparounds to be had..
What would be YOUR choice?

Don´t get me wrong, but within reason i couldn´t care less as far as cost. Main objective here is to make the axe in case into all it can be. I recap...this is from every other aspect there is one SERIOUS rocknroll machine..

Basass bridges in their own right, but things has certainly evolved since..
