First post! I've come over this fine old instrument that has been separated for restoration. But I cant't seem to find out what model it is. Looks like a Les Paul, but with a (broken) button plate (or whatever it's called this black thing that covers the hole in the body where the buttons are installed. The serial number according to the neck plate is 1049943, so I reckon it's from 1981, correct? On the neck plate it also says: STEEL ADJUSTABLE NECK MADE IN JAPAN. Thanks for any information on this very lovely, well used instrument!
