Yep.... liking that a lot!!

In fact... due to the good graces of a board member here, I have one, too! Mine had been tinkered with and was wired incorrectly so now - after much discussion and hair-pulling - has been rewired so that n + b pickups go through the 3 way switch and have a volume pot each; the middle pickup is straight to the output jack through a volume pot so that the single tone pot only really works on the n + b pickups and the middle volume control is really more of a blend pot. Is this how yours works??

The gold hardware on mine was badly corroded and worn so I replaced all of the hardware with black gear; I reckon it looks brilliant! :D

Yours looks super tidy; very very nice!

Hi Bro yes exactly the same setup ref the Pots and pups
Yep I Like Black Finishes and think you really enhanced the result chosing that.My platings mostly in really good nick so no need to touch it.I do agree the machine heads are a bit ropy .look good but feel bloody loose and flimsy when tightning and i tend to have more re tuning on this compared to my Strat,So maybe i will look at a change .

Hi Jack (good thing I'm not on a plane!)
Before you toss the original tuners, make sure you adjust them for tightness. You should snug up the nuts on the post, that will clamp the unit vertically. Then do the same with the little end screws in the button ends. Snug those up until they contact the crush washers on the shaft. That will stabilize things horizontally.

That should correct the sloppiness. The hardware should be top quality, but if you're still experiencing excess movement perhaps the gears have worn, not likely but it can happen. Then you can replace.
