I bought my first Matsumoku, a Vantage Ghost, off the rack in 1982. It was my first decent guitar. I spent about a year in my mom's basement trying to master it. When it was stolen (by someone I thought was a friend) I never thought I'd see another one. I owned about 20 other guitars through the years but never loved another as deeply. Then Ebay came along and I finally found a replacement. After a bit of custom paint and swapping in the Semour Whole Lotta Humbuckers with the Jimmy Page wiring I now own this worthy replacement of my first love. I call her Tina.
Number 3 is a 1960's model called the Bruno Conqueror. I'd show you mine but I can't find the right cord so I can't get it off my camera. But it looks just like this one.
Number 4 is a 1982 Epiphone Sheraton that I purchased back in August.
And now, coming in at number 5, is my ultra-rare 1982 Matsumoku Epiphone Les Paul. I am, indeed, a Very lucky fellow!
