Soon to be mine. It's in very good shape except for a missing knob. I plan to pick it up next Sunday or Monday as the owner is away on a business trip.

Oooh, that's nice!! We haven't seen many of these at all, eh, chaps, so a few more pix when you've got it in hand would be great!

More pics will def be in store! I would already have had this but for a reimbursement delay and will still nearly break the bank :( . The work schedule of the owner is the issue now.

I'm actually more excited about this than when my ES-500 became available :hyper: !

@Jorg...: :rofl: :-P

Picked up my new toy an hour ago :hyper: ! I was first surprised at the condition - namely, near perfect - very minor scratches on the top (pick scratches) that can be polished out and only a few belt buckle dongs on the back (REALLY have to look hard). The guy said that his father bought it at a flea market some 20 years ago, played it twice, and sat in the corner ever since!

The next surprise came when I plugged it into his Peavey Classic VTX tube amp. Sound PURE! Pots didn't scratch or pop, switch switched noiselessly and the tuners worked smoothly. Action was to my liking, but intonation is a bit off on the G and D strings. Strings LOOKED new (NO corrosion). I doubt that this fiddle has more than an hours playing on it.

The Body is about 10% smaller that the TA, but weighs quite a bit more @3.8 Kg (134oz). The ONLY issue is with the positively YUGLY knobs which will definitely get replaced!

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder :D ! I'm gonna try to find a replacement for the missing one (I do prefer to keep my visuals as close to original as possible). Failing that, they'll get replaced with something pretty - then you can have them.
