Beautiful demo of a beautiful guitar! When I was a young guy, Herb Ellis was one of the more visible "jazz" players in TV bands and featured on recordings. I really enjoyed listening to him, particularly when backing singers like Lou Rawls. The APII 175-PE is absolutely a versatile instrument, as are most top end F-hole hollow acoustic electrics in my opinion. Players like Ellis were influential in my buying my first "real" guitar, a '64 Gibson ES330TD which I still have. Just wish I could play it like Laurent! |

That was a great choice of guitar you made, worth about 4 to 5 times as much as my Aria |

Worth is relative. If a $500 guitar makes you feel like a million bucks when you play it then it is a million dollar guitar in your hands. |

I wish I would have heeded that advice about 6 years ago. I let go of a few I very much miss now. |
