Just want to share my Aria LS-700 in Brown Sunburst - like shown in the catalog from 1977 (
http://matsumoku.org/models/ariaproii/catalogs/77_lclsst/77_lc-ls-st_pg4.jpg.html). Serial-Number has a 0 as the first digit, so it should be made in 1980. The built quality is amazing and much better than the selling-price of 70.000 Yen back then would one let assume. In comparison to a Greco EG 800 the Aria 700 is in every which way the better guitar - in my opinion of course. Has a very thick carved maple-top and a pancake-Body of mahagony. Fine rosewood fretboard with real MOP-Inlays and Fretedge-Binding. It is completely original. So it has been equipped with the Protomatic-I Pickups and the adjustable MG-55C Machine Heads. Aria called in "our best grade guitar", and that is absolutely right. Hope you like the pics.
